3 CONT Clarence G. 'Boots' Sooby of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Newportville, pa., passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009,
3 CONT at Hospice of Marion County, Ocala. He was 91.
3 CONT He was the loving husband of Esther F. (Wills) Sooby.
3 CONT Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa., Clarence was a production worker with the 3M Company.
3 CONT Mr. Sooby served with the U.S. National Guard during World War II.
3 CONT He loved to garden, talk to family and friends, and play softball.
3 CONT Clarence was the father of Clarence 'Boots' Sooby (Judy) of Langhorne and Lorraine J. Marconi (David) of Langhorne;
3 CONT brother of Marquand Sooby of Fairless Hills, Martin Sooby of Lower Makefield, Ronnie Sooby of Bensalem and Eleanor Thomas of Fairless Hills.
3 CONT He also is survived by six grandchildren, Kristin McGee, David Marconi, Michael Sooby, William Sooby, Todd Marconi, and Noelle Marconi;
3 CONT six great-grandchildren, Cameron Sooby, Joey Marconi, Jackson McGee, Maria Sooby, Michael Sooby Jr. and Connor McGee.
3 CONT Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral at 10 a.m. Thursday at Faust Funeral Home, 902 Bellevue Ave, Hulmeville,
3 CONT where friends will be received from 7 to 9p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
3 CONT Internment will be in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA..
