If you have any Soobys in your family tree and it is not mentioned on this website I would be interested to hear from you. If your family tree has a significant number of Soobys I would also be interesting in incorportating your entire family tree into this website.

Sooby Web Site Links
Some links to various Sooby web sites on the internet found using different search engines

Lifelines Homepage
I have put my family tree on my computer, the program I use is called Lifelines (Multi-platform) and I have found it to be very good

Genopro
I wanted a graphical printout of my entire family tree and so downloaded a program called Genopro (Windows only) to do this, I found that when I imported my GEDCOM file it did not use a lot of the information, such as addresses etc. For this reason, when I want a printout I export a GEDCOM file from lifelines, import it into Genopro, then print it out.

Winzip 8.1 Download site
If you download these programs for windows you will need a program to unzip the .zip files. I use the evaluation version of winzip 8.1

1881 British Census Site
If you are researching your family tree you may want to know that you can access the 1881 British Census for free at this site, there are also some addition record sets now available on this site.
If you select "Search for your ancestors in our vast record collection" Then on the next screen select Census, then finally you can select 1881 British Census on the drop down box at the top of the screen.

Free Census Records
You can access some of records from the 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1891 UK Census, with more added every day at this site.
This is not a complete dataset, but is still a useful resource.

Free Births, Deaths and Marriages
You can access some of UK Births, Deaths and Marriages, with more added every day at this site.
This is not a complete dataset, but is still a useful resource.

Another source of genealogy information is the Electoral Roll - If you can get down to London you can access the National electoral registers, however your local record office often have a lot of information (including free access to Ancestry.com), they will also have copies of your local electoral rolls.
